LIFE AFTER DEATH

this is a poem i wrote long time back when i was in class x11....

as she walked through the lane
every eye on her sustained
every language around filled with ordure
like nothing but a non physical torture
her innocent pain filled with silent pain
a calm painful picture not inane

she had heard her mother passed long before
it was sticky poverty , she could not bore
but with father she still lives on
endowing love , ever fresh as dawn
but he couldn't put up with his loneliness
red bottle , his friend to fill the hollowness
laboring hard try to fill their "small" stomach
only some grains, nothing else he tries to fetch

it was last month when the turn appeared
in her plain "simple" life so well reared
late evening , father hadn't returned
her anticipating Hungary eyes concerned
father must be lying some where , she had a notion.
stepped out filled with great commotion
on one 'familiar' end of lane, father she whispered
but their was no respond , she stood unheard

every corner seems to be so ghostly so dark
suddenly her heart beat stopped, a dog had barked
every step had an accelerated pace
every color had disappeared from her face
the scary feeling , slowly holding her heart
finally compelled her she walked back , with a unnatural dart

as she took few turns a ghostly shadow shrouded her
she pale and scared couldn't discern but watched her
she didn't knew carnal desire on the shadow's Head
which soon left her , left her worse then dead

today the bund has broken
she finally dis-embosom
the invective pain, jibes and Lear, made her life so torchersome
crushing and churning the words to shrill
her heart paining, some thing boring like a drill
her hand searching in a old bottle pile
riddance, riddance in a small little phial
as lips touched her face sank in plunket
she tossed and turned , peacefully she slept with a torn blanket but
her dark life turned to morn', as the sun had set........
